In 2011, ground-source heat-pump sales increased from approximately 8 000 heat pumps to almost 14 000, i.e. sales grew by 72%. Furthermore, the breath taking pace in the air-source heat pump sector also continued, with more than 55 000 air-source heat pumps sold. The increase in sales per unit in the entire industry saw a growth of 10%.
