Local chapter

Scanvac works through its member societies. They achieve their objetives through annual meetings, monthly local chapter meetings, editing of technical journals, publication programmes, participation in research programmes etc.

Members recieve regulary:

  • a national HVAC journal, a monthly publication of research, design, development, engineering and news in the HVAC field. The national journals are:
    VVS (Denmark)
    Talotekniikka LVI (Finland)
    Lagnafre´ttir (Iceland)
    Norsk VVS (Norway)
    Energi & Miljö (Sweden)
  • Scanvac newsletter, a biannual publication in English on Scadinavian HVAC technology.

Scanvac publications and national publications such as guidelines, technical papers, symposium papers and discussion papers may be purchased by members at reduced rates.

The chapter of Scanvac´s member societies offer information and discussions of new developments of technical and professional interest. Individual members can join a local chapter in their residential or business area. Typically chapters hold two to eight meetings a year, providing for the exchange of technical information.

Scanvac´s members societies include technical committees where specific technological topics are discussed. The technical committees are open to all individual members.
